Transistor Radio Toys
These great little radio
toys are from a bygone era when radio was something. This is the kind of junk
viewers of the "Favorite Transistor Radios" videos will see
interspersed
between the real radios for comic relief. For size reference, the
little pink number on the left measures 1 1/4" tall. It is stamped
"Hong Kong" on the back and may have had a little handle originally.
Could have been a Cracker Jack toy, I don't know. The little table
radio in front and the chrome job to the far right are charms
made for wearing on bracelets. The red one at the top appears to be
made of some
sort of clay. The blue and white one belongs to
Barbie's friend Tammy (I think). Ken borrowed it to listen to while
working on the jalopy with Archie and Jughead. Then he lent it to GI
Joe who had it in
'Nam for awhile and he bent the antenna. Tammy is not speaking to any
of them anymore.

radios.
