“This quiet song delivers a powerful punch. It's an anti-war song that doesn't preach– yet it powerfully illustrates an unnerving fact: war's true cost to humanity is far greater than we can know.”
If ever a song deserved the widest of audiences it is this one. it takes us beyond notions of war as folly, or war as brutal. It examines, in a quiet forthright way, the unknown consequences of war and helps us see the enormity of them.
Superbly written and produced, it is a warm and captivating song. Watch for the "ah-hah!" moment in the lyric near the end. I won't give it away here, but I will say this: After you hear this song you will never think of war the same way again.
