Vintage primitive painting 'James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause by Tommy,' back. From 'Fine Art Portraits' at the web's largest private collection of antiques & collectibles: http://www.ericwrobbel.com/collections/fine-art-3.htm

Above, a thrift-store painting par excellence, “James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause by Tommy.” Just fabulous!

Vintage portrait likely commissioned by proud parents of their lovely daughter. The artist, so far as I can make out, is Carlton Tims or maybe Carlton S. Tims or Stims. I don't know! As beautifully as he could paint, he sure couldn't write his name worth a damn. Oil on canvas. I was unkindly accused of having a prurient interest rather than an artistic one in the above ladies when I bought these beautiful paintings for my collection. Piffle! In all likelihood, these are portraits commissioned by proud parents of their lovely daughters. The artist, so far as I can make out, is Carlton Tims or maybe Carlton S. Tims or Stims. I don’t know!
