Let’s face it, finding art is a lot easier than creating it, right? Or is it? I guess maybe not, considering how little found art I’ve found. This gem is from the middle 1970s. A friend had used these cheap paint brushes to apply fiberglass to his car in a restoration project. I found them later, sitting in a can in a shallow pool of dried fiberglass resin, hard as a rock. (They were my brushes as I recall and I was a little peeved.) I pulled them out of the can and said “eureka, art! What convinced me the brushes were truly art was that they could stand by themselves. I think art should stand by itself, don’t you?
